Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent is an aromatic fougere fragrance for men, launched in 1981. Created by perfumer Pierre Bourdon, it opens with striking top notes of aldehydes, coriander, clary sage, artemisia, and bergamot. The heart unfolds with patchouli, carnation, vetiver, jasmine, geranium, orris root, cinnamon, and lavender, resting on a bold base of civet, musk, honey, leather, oakmoss, amber, tonka bean, and vanilla.
